And he’s done it again! Jinbo continues the onslaught of amazing remakes of fantastic Korean songs with Taeyang‘s 2010 solo single, “I Need A Girl“, aptly titled “I Need You Girl“.
Here’s some gratuitous press mumbo jumbo:
Decorated with chord progression of Tom Browne’s “Funkin’ For Jamaica (N.Y.),” it displays heartfelt vocals that were inspired by the late Michael Jackson. A love serenade listing the qualities he seeks from an ideal girl, the sweet charm from the original takes a more mature turn on this up-tempo reinterpretation.
I don’t think I love this as much as I do his other two remakes, which were brilliant and free of all flaws, but it’s still a great track and a strong effort nonetheless. Vibe to this classy remake below and let me know what you think of the track in the comments section!
