Loen Entertainment‘s newest rookie girl group, cleverly named FIESTAR (really?), has made its debut this week. Check out the full music video to their official single, “Vista,” below:

Commentary:
There’s not much to say, really. The song is pretty generic, with brassy, theatrical flairs in the instrumental that aren’t new in K-Pop and a normal line-up of voices and a rap section. They sound like a less interesting SISTAR to me, who I don’t find to be very interesting to begin with, so … take that how you will. They can hold a note in tune (on this recording, at least), but they’re missing a unique spark to make them stand out. The song is just aiight.
The video featured JYJ’s Junsu, which was nice, but if there’s a redeeming element about this MV it is the fun and hilarious intro bit, where the girls are experimenting with gadgets and apparently their powers. It was cool and refreshing, but the rest of the MV fell flat after that.
What do you think?

I like that they included Sunny Hull’s SeungAh, as well as Junsu. Other than that, I have to say, better than I expected but I’m still laughing at their name.
haha, yeah the name is pretty ridiculous. I don’t even get it.
Lol Sistar….Fiestar. The m/v started off promising then it just got muddled and they forgot to end the story. The song…is eh. They should have done Wicked instead.
Wicked was definitely better than this!
I thought Wicked was better. This song gets really bored fast. It doesn’t have a great build-up. The beginning of the MV looked cool but then it fizzled out. :/ But at least it was nice to look at Junsu for a couple seconds! :D
